Background
The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) is committed to fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth among its staff. To support this mission, MBTA seeks a qualified vendor to deliver professional development services aimed at enhancing the facilitation, instructional design, and training management capabilities of its team.

These services are integral to improving the quality and effectiveness of training programs that support the technical and operational excellence of MBTA personnel.

Work Details
The vendor will provide professional development courses targeting three key areas:

1. Facilitation Skills for Training Instructors, covering topics such as establishing a positive learning environment, managing participants, and resolving learner behavior challenges.

2. Instructional Design and Development Skills, including learning design fundamentals, developing learning objectives, and creating accessible training content.

3. Training Leadership Skills for managers, focusing on aligning learning initiatives with organizational goals and evaluating learning investments.

Deliverables include customized training materials tailored to MBTA's needs, scheduled training sessions, a project management plan, evaluation reports, and attendance documentation in MBTA’s Learning Management System (LMS). The anticipated number of training seats required over three years is 76 for Facilitation Skills, 76 for Training Development Skills, and 15 for Training Leadership.

Period of Performance
The contract duration shall be three (3) years with two one-year renewal options. The program is expected to launch by early 2025.

Place of Performance
The geographic location for performance will primarily be at MBTA facilities in Massachusetts.
