Purchase of Duty Pistols with Trade-In, IFB 201/035/25

Background
The Town of Andover, Massachusetts is seeking bids for the purchase of duty pistols with trade-ins as part of its procurement process. The goal is to replace the current duty weapon used by the Andover Police Department, which is the Sig Sauer P226 rail in .40 caliber. The new weapon selected is the Sig Sauer P320 Carry Pro pistol in 9mm, aimed at enhancing the operational capabilities of the police force.

Work Details
The contract involves purchasing sixty-five (65) Sig Sauer P320 Carry Pro pistols (Model #W320CA-9-BXR3-PRO-RXE-6) with specific features including a 3.9 inch compact barrel, XCARRY grip, X-RAY3 Day/Night sights, optics ready configuration, and three (3) 17 round magazines.

Additionally, it includes the Sig Sauer Romeo X-Pro enclosed pistol optic with a '6MOA' reticle. The fulfillment of this order will also provide five slots for training at the Sig Sauer Academy for 'P320 Armorer Certification'.

The Town will trade in seventy-five (75) Sig Sauer P226 rail in .40 caliber pistols, five (5) Glock model 27 in 9mm, and twelve (12) Sig Sauer P224 in .40 caliber pistols towards this purchase. A grace period of 180 days will be required between the delivery of new weapons and turnover of current duty weapons.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period extends until January 15, 2026, unless extended by mutual agreement or due to funding availability.

The contract will be performed in Andover, Massachusetts.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide authorization letters from manufacturers or dealers for products specified. They must also submit copies of federal and state licenses indicating they are authorized to sell and buy the listed products.

Bidders are required to maintain liability insurance covering personal injury and property damage and must include the Town as an additional insured. All bids must include both unit prices and total prices for each item listed on the Bid Price Sheet.
