Property lease for telecommunications apparatus

Background
The Centerville-Osterville-Marstons Mills Fire District, Water Department is seeking proposals for a property lease to install telecommunications apparatus. The goal is to lease 6400 square feet of District-owned land located off 1238 Main Street in Osterville, Barnstable, MA for the installation of a low visible monopole tower intended for cellular and wireless communication facilities. This initiative aligns with the Department's mission to enhance communication infrastructure in the area.

Work Details
The contract involves leasing land for the installation of a monopole tower and related equipment. The lease will cover two five-year terms, with the option for early withdrawal after the first term with six months' notice. The lessee must comply with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding construction and maintenance.

Proposals must include detailed plans showing how the space will be utilized, drawings of antennas and associated apparatus, five references with photos of similar installations, valid licenses, a completed proposal letter, a signed state tax affidavit form, and a signed non-collusion statement. The lessee is responsible for all costs related to construction and maintenance and must ensure that their equipment does not interfere with existing municipal communications.
