Plumbing Maintenance & Repair Contract - On call

Background
The Methuen Housing Authority (Authority) is a public entity that provides subsidized housing and assistance to low-income families in Methuen, MA.

The Authority manages multiple properties throughout the city and is seeking qualified contractors for plumbing maintenance and repair services. This contract aims to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of plumbing systems in its properties.

Work Details
The contractor will provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary for plumbing maintenance and repair services.

This includes routine and urgent repairs, replacements, and installations at various properties owned by the Methuen Housing Authority. All work must comply with local, state, and federal codes as well as industry standards. The contractor must be licensed in Massachusetts as a plumber or gas fitter.

Additionally, the contractor is required to provide itemized cost estimates for any additional work and cannot perform such work without written consent from the Authority. All materials used must be new and meet state code requirements.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence on May 15, 2025, and will continue for one year until May 14, 2026.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various properties managed by the Methuen Housing Authority located in Methuen, MA.
