On-Call Painting Services

Background
The City of Quincy, Massachusetts, through its Department of Public Buildings, is seeking sealed bids for on-call painting services. The goal is to partner with a qualified and responsible Painting Contractor to apply paint to both interior and exterior surfaces of public buildings, including schools and municipal buildings. This initiative aims to ensure that these surfaces are properly prepared for receiving a finish coat of paint.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the application of paint to interior and exterior surfaces of public buildings. This includes the preparation of such surfaces for painting and encompasses all necessary labor, tools, supplies, transportation, staging, trucking, and supervision required for the work. The services will be provided on an on-call basis in City-owned public buildings.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed until May 29, 2025.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at various City-owned public buildings in Quincy, Massachusetts.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must comply with Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 30, Section 39M. All applicable Federal, State and City regulations must be adhered to, including minimum wage rates set under the Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Law Chapter 149, §26 to 27H.
