This decision arises from the DOL's urgent need for updated software and hardware solutions due to the discontinuation of maintenance support for their legacy products, which poses security risks.

Work Details
The DOL requires the procurement of Scantron products, specifically the EVAEXAM software and an associated scanner. The EVAEXAM software is a web-based solution intended to replace the unsupported PARSCORE/PARTEST software previously used by the DOL for administering and scoring exams.

The contract includes a one-time purchase of a scanner for $13,200 and an annual renewal cost of $19,580 for the EVAEXAM software package. The DOL conducts approximately 15,000 exams annually across 39 unique tests each month, necessitating reliable and efficient testing solutions.
