Mwrta Request For Proposals - Fixed Route And Demand Rerponse Transit Services

Background
The MetroWest Regional Transit Authority (MWRTA) is seeking proposals from qualified transit providers to enter into a multi-year contract for Fixed Route and Demand Response services.

The goal of this contract is to provide transit services within the MWRTA member community service areas and connections to other designated areas and destinations. This initiative aligns with MWRTA's mission to enhance public transportation accessibility and efficiency in the region.

Work Details
The contractor will provide Fixed Route and Demand Response Transit Services as specified by MWRTA.

The vehicles necessary for these services will be provided, insured, and maintained by MWRTA, adhering to established service delivery standards and policies. The contractor's responsibilities include ensuring timely and efficient transit operations within the designated service areas.

Period of Performance
The contract term is for three (3) years, commencing on July 1, 2025, and concluding on June 30, 2028.

There is an option for the Authority to extend the contract for up to two (2) additional one (1) year terms at its discretion.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed within the MWRTA member community service areas, with potential connections to other designated locations as determined by the Authority.
