Background
The Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA) is responsible for providing water and wastewater services in the Greater Boston area.
The goal of the Farm Pond Inlet Chamber Repair project, under MWRA Contract No. OP-500, is to permanently eliminate the existing connection between Farm Pond and the Sudbury Aqueduct.
Work Details
The work includes filling in the inlet channels with concrete to eliminate the connection between Farm Pond and the Sudbury Aqueduct.
This project is critical for maintaining water quality and infrastructure integrity.
Period of Performance
The contract duration is 275 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.

The work will be performed at Farm Pond Reservoir in Framingham, MA, adjacent to the intersection of Dudley Road and Dr. Harvey L. Cushing Way.
