Background
The Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA) is seeking bids for the Chelsea Screen House, Caruso and DeLauri Pump Stations Duct Cleaning and Repairs under Contract No. OP-493. The MWRA's mission involves ensuring the provision of clean water and effective wastewater management in Massachusetts. This contract aims to enhance the operational efficiency and safety of the HVAC systems at these facilities.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, and labor necessary to perform cleaning and selective repair of the existing exhaust and supply ducts at the Chelsea Screen House, Caruso Pump Station, and DeLauri Pump Station. This includes thorough duct cleaning services to ensure optimal air quality and system performance.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to commence after the bid opening on May 21, 2025, with specific timelines to be determined upon contract award.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at three locations:
- Chelsea Screen House: 340 Marginal St., Chelsea, MA 02150
- Caruso Pump Station: 601 Chelsea Street, Boston, MA 02128
- DeLauri Pump Station: 172 Alford St., Boston, MA 02129.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must possess a current Certificate of Eligibility issued by DCAMM that demonstrates they have the classification and capacity rating to perform HVAC work. Bidders must also be certified in HVAC to be eligible to submit a bid.
