Background
The City of Revere, Massachusetts, is issuing an Invitation to Bid for the McKinley School Renovation and Addition project.

General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in General Building Construction and submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility along with a signed DCAMM Prime/General Contractor Update Statement.
Filed sub-bidders must also be DCAMM certified for the trades listed in the bid documents.

Period of Performance
The anticipated construction project start date is February 5, 2026, with an end date of August 5, 2027.
The estimated final completion date for the contract is September 24, 2027.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at McKinley School located at 65 Yeamans Street, Revere, MA 02151.

Bidder Requirements
General bidders must provide a bid deposit equal to 5% of the bid value in the form of a certified check or bid bond.
They are required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the contract sum from a surety licensed in Massachusetts.
Bidders must comply with OSHA safety training requirements and adhere to minimum wage rates as specified in the contract documents.
