The Town of Ipswich, Massachusetts, is seeking proposals from qualified Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to deliver comprehensive municipal IT services. Work Details
The vendor must provide fully managed IT services including:
A. Help Desk: Full user support for all departments, after-hours and weekend coverage, and public safety priority response.
B. Cybersecurity (included in base fee): Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), 24/7 monitoring, email security, multi-factor authentication (MFA), patch management, vulnerability scanning, and incident response.
C. Infrastructure: Network management, server administration, Microsoft 365 management, and backup oversight.
D. Additional Services: VoIP support, vendor management, asset lifecycle management, and strategic IT planning.
Mandatory identity and environment cleanup includes normalizing Active Directory by removing stale/duplicate accounts and aligning Microsoft 365 licensing while implementing onboarding/offboarding standards.
Period of Performance
One year from contract execution.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must conduct a mandatory site visit at Ipswich Town Hall on May 13th – 14th, 2026. Proposals must include a technical proposal detailing experience, staffing, approach, cybersecurity model, and references; as well as a separate sealed price proposal using the Town pricing form.
