Medical School Lab Maintenance

Background
The University of Massachusetts (UMass) is seeking proposals from qualified suppliers to establish service protocols for lab maintenance. This initiative aims to ensure the proper functioning and upkeep of laboratory equipment across its campuses, which include Amherst, Boston, Dartmouth, Lowell, and Worcester.

The goal is to maintain high standards of service and product quality to meet the university's operational needs.

Work Details
The contract involves providing maintenance services for various laboratory equipment including refrigeration units, freezers, shakers, microscopes, and other smaller scientific equipment. The selected vendor will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is maintained according to established protocols outlined in Attachment G of the RFP.

This includes regular inspections, repairs, and any necessary replacements to ensure optimal performance.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to continue for a duration specified in the proposal submissions. Ongoing maintenance services will be provided as required.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various University of Massachusetts campuses including Amherst, Boston, Dartmouth, Lowell, and Worcester.
