Massachusetts Strategic Health Group RFP

Background
The Massachusetts Strategic Health Group (MSHG) is a health insurance joint purchase group established under Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 32B, Section 12. It consists of seventeen governmental units and aims to procure health insurance management services to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of health insurance offerings for its members.

Work Details
The selected firm will be responsible for providing comprehensive health insurance management services. This includes but is not limited to managing health insurance plans, providing customer service support, assisting with claims processing, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Proposals must include separate technical (non-price) and price proposals, which should be submitted in two sealed envelopes clearly labeled as 'Price Proposal' or 'Non-Price Proposal'.

Period of Performance
The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to continue for an initial term of one year, with options for renewal based on performance and mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed primarily at the offices of the selected contractor, with potential interactions at various locations of the governmental units within the MSHG.
