Description

Site preparation, removal of existing material, installation of a new parking lot and concrete sidewalk, installation of approximately 1,200 linear feet of 5 foot wide pervious stone dust walkways, paint two basketball courts, resurfacing a baseball diamond, loaming and seeding disturbed areas
Background
The Leonard C. Lopes Memorial Park Improvements Project is initiated by the Town of Wareham, Massachusetts, aimed at enhancing the facilities and infrastructure of Leonard C. Lopes Memorial Park.

The project reflects the Town's commitment to improving community recreational spaces and ensuring they meet the needs of residents.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing all materials, labor, supervision, and equipment necessary for the following tasks:

- Site preparation
- Removal of existing materials
- Installation of a new parking lot and concrete sidewalk
- Installation of approximately 1,200 linear feet of 5-foot wide pervious stone dust walkways
- Painting two basketball courts

The demolition of the existing playground and installation of new playground equipment will be managed by others. Coordination with the Wareham Municipal Maintenance Department and the playground equipment contractor is required.

Period of Performance
The project is expected to commence on or about February 17, 2025, with substantial completion no later than June 6, 2025. The project must be fully completed by June 20, 2025.
