Background
The Chelsea Housing Authority (CHA) is a Massachusetts public housing authority located at 51 Exeter Street, Chelsea, Massachusetts. Work Details
The Contractor shall provide the following services:
- Quarterly hydro-jet cleaning of all lateral sewer lines running from each building to the street connection.
- Cleaning of internal building laterals as needed.
- CCTV video inspection of lateral lines to identify damage or deficiencies.
- Submission of written inspection reports with findings within five business days.
- Emergency response to sewer back-up calls within four hours.
- Site cleanup after work completion.
Work will be performed at the following CHA developments:
- Prattville Apartments (128 units)
- Scrivano Apartments (108 units)
- Mace Apartments (96 units)
- Buckley Apartments (210 units)
- Union Park Apartments (56 units)
- Margolis Apartments (152 units).
Period of Performance
The initial contract term shall be for one year from the date of execution, with options to renew for up to two additional one-year periods based on satisfactory performance and funding availability.
Place of Performance
Work will be performed at seven CHA developments located in Chelsea, Massachusetts.
Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide proof of general liability insurance ($1,000,000 minimum), copies of required licenses and certifications, a list of at least three references for similar work, and a statement of company qualifications. The Contractor must not subcontract any portion of the work without prior written consent from the CHA.
