ITS81 - Software Operations and Support Services

Background
The Executive Office of Technology Services and Security (EOTSS) is responsible for the development of IT policy and implementation and oversight of all information technology investments for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

The Division of Standards (DOS) is a state regulatory agency under the Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation, tasked with ensuring the accuracy of weighing and measuring devices used in commerce. The Division operates several disparate software systems that are unable to share information, leading to a need for unification of its operational platform.

Work Details
The contractor will conduct a review of the current software platforms used by the Division, assessing their congruence with operational needs and future growth. This review will include an assessment of the 'as is' state of current systems and processes, including data integrity.

The deliverable will be a slide deck documenting the 'as is' state along with a roadmap for achieving the 'to be' state. This roadmap will include a step-by-step plan, procurement recommendations, and estimated final project costs.

Period of Performance
The estimated term for the contract is 6-8 weeks, with potential for renewal or extension upon written agreement by both parties.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at locations designated by the Agency within Massachusetts.
