IFB - Traffic Signal Construction Services Citywide

Background
The City of Boston, through its Transportation Department, is seeking electronic bids for Traffic Signal Construction Services Citywide. The contract will be for the installation of new signals and upgrades over a period of three fiscal years starting July 1, 2024. This procurement is being conducted under the provisions of Chapter 30, Section 39M of the Massachusetts General Laws and is subject to Prevailing Wage Rates. Contractors must be prequalified for Traffic Signal work through the Massachusetts Department of Transportation to submit a bid.
The City plans to award three contracts citywide. Additionally, a performance bond and a payment bond will be required from the successful bidder as security.

Work Details
The work includes Traffic Signal Construction Services for the installation of new signals and upgrades citywide over a three-year period starting July 1, 2024. The contract will require the successful bidder to provide services related to traffic signal construction, including but not limited to installation of new signals and upgrades.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of three fiscal years starting from July 1, 2024.

Place of Performance
The contract work will be performed citywide within the jurisdiction of the City of Boston.
