Background
The Town of North Attleborough, Massachusetts is issuing a contract for the Former Boulter Farm Area Targeted Ex-SITU Remediation and Capping project. This project aims to address environmental concerns at the site located at 230 Mendon Road, North Attleborough, MA 02760. The goal is to remediate contaminated materials and construct an engineered barrier cap compliant with Toxics Substances Control Act (TSCA) requirements.

Work Details
The work includes clearing and grubbing the work area, excavation and disposal of approximately 225 tons of impacted material, construction of an approximately 11,000 square foot TSCA-compliant engineered barrier cap, and all associated dewatering activities.

The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the completion of the project as specified in the contract documents.

Period of Performance
The contractor must commence work within ten (10) days of receiving the Notice to Proceed and is required to complete the project within thirty (30) consecutive calendar days thereafter.

Place of Performance
The project will be performed at the Former Boulter Farm Area located at 230 Mendon Road, North Attleborough, MA 02760.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide bid security in the form of a certified check or bid bond amounting to 5% of the bid price. A performance bond and a labor and materials bond equal to 100% of the total contract price are also required.

Bidders must comply with prevailing wage laws as determined by Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 149. Additionally, bidders are expected to have experience in similar projects.
