Background
The Town of Natick, Massachusetts, is issuing an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the General Contract related to Controls and HVAC Upgrades at the Bennett-Hemenway Elementary School. The project aims to enhance the mechanical systems of the school as part of the town's commitment to improving educational facilities. Work Details
The work includes:
1) Replacement of the automatic temperature controls building management system;
2) Installation of an air-to-water heat pump chiller, which encompasses piping, insulation, a concrete pad, chemical treatment, pumps, and control systems;
3) Replacement of existing boilers with condensing boilers.

The Contractor must supply all necessary labor, materials, and equipment as specified in the Contract Drawings and Specifications.

Period of Performance

Bidder Requirements

The successful bidder will need to provide a Payment and Performance Bond for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Compliance with minimum prevailing wage rates as per Massachusetts General Laws is mandatory.
