IFB #26-11 CY2025 Lead Service Line Replacement Program

Background
The City of Fall River, MA is issuing IFB #26-11 for the CY2025 Lead Service Line Replacement Program. This initiative aims to replace lead service lines to ensure safe drinking water and comply with health regulations. The project is funded by an EPA Community Grant.

Work Details
The scope of work includes the replacement of approximately 200 lead service lines located on both public and private properties. The estimated project cost is $2,000,000. The successful bidder must adhere to prevailing wage rates as per MGL c149 s26 to 27D. Additionally, compliance with OSHA approved safety and health training requirements is mandatory.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit a bid deposit equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid amount in the form of cash, certified check, bank treasurer's or cashier's check, or a bid bond from a responsible surety company licensed in Massachusetts. The successful bidder will also be required to provide 100% performance and payment bonds.
