Background
The Southeastern Regional Transit Authority (SRTA) is responsible for public transit services in ten communities within the Southeastern Massachusetts region. Funded through Federal, State, and local subsidies as well as farebox revenue, the SRTA operates under Commonwealth of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 161B. The agency must comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and all applicable laws and regulations, including those set forth by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT).

Work Details
The SRTA is seeking quotes for the acquisition of two sets of Heavy-Duty Mobile Column Bus Lifts. The specifications include:

- 4 Post Mobile Column Lift
- Minimum Lifting Capacity: 18,000 lbs. per post
- Wireless Capability (not cabled)
- Adjustable Lifting Forks
- Minimum Lifting Height: 67 inches
- ANSI/ALI-ALCTV Certified (preferred)

The quoted price must include delivery to the New Bedford Maintenance Facility at 65 Potomska Street, New Bedford, MA 02740, as well as staff training upon receipt.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to be awarded on May 14, 2026, following a submission deadline of May 6, 2026.

Place of Performance
New Bedford Maintenance Facility, 65 Potomska Street, New Bedford, MA 02740.

Bidder Requirements
Vendors must demonstrate responsiveness and responsibility in compliance with procurement guidelines set by the FTA. They are required to sign off on applicable Federal Clauses. Additionally, the SRTA is a tax-exempt agency and will provide a Certificate of Exemption (Form ST-2) to the successful vendor.
