Goodwill Park Renovations Rebid IFB

Background
The Town of Holliston is seeking sealed bids from qualified contractors for improvements to “Goodwill Park”, the premier Park Property located on Green Street in downtown Holliston. The proposed site improvements for Goodwill Park are intended to optimize one of the community’s most important assets by providing accessible bathrooms, increased covered space for camp, civic events, entertainment and recreation while enabling the Town’s Youth Organizations to better optimize the field space.

Work Details
The Goodwill Park Improvement Project includes various features such as a new accessible prefabricated bathroom facility with a tight tank adjacent to the tennis courts and playground, addition on the existing stone building to create covered camp/rental space with improved sightlines and more capacity for camp activities and shelter, demolition of existing stage and garage, retaining wall and enhanced landscaping, miscellaneous site amenities like benches, water bubbler, electrical outlets, water spigots, relocated dogipots, and relocated and refurbished bike rack and flagpole.
Additionally, there is an alternate option for a covered stage structure and tennis court seating. The bid sheet includes details on site preparation, grading, drainage and utilities, landscape features, and bid total.

Period of Performance
Sealed bids must be submitted no later than 10 am on March 15, 2024. The construction plans and specifications are available on February 14, 2024.
A site walk through is scheduled for 9 am on March 1 at Goodwill Park.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at Goodwill Park located at 30 Green Street Holliston, MA 01746.
