FY22-23 Byrne SCIP Statewide Research Partner Opportunity Non-Competitive

Background
The Office of Grants and Research (OGR) of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is issuing a continuation grant opportunity under the FY22-23 Byrne State Crisis Intervention Program (Byrne SCIP).
This program aims to provide strategic, analytic, and research support to local law enforcement and state agencies to enhance crisis intervention efforts.

Work Details
The awarded Statewide Research Partner (SRP) will provide the following services:
- Assist OGR with data collection and reporting as required by the Byrne SCIP.
- Provide strategic support, critical analysis, and continuous feedback to improve or maintain program operations.
- Inform stakeholders about evidence-based practices in crisis intervention.
- Present recommendations for improvements based on performance outcomes and research findings.
- Facilitate technical assistance on topics such as risk/needs assessment tools, program strategies, and quarterly reporting.
- Ensure compliance with grant requirements and monitor fidelity in program implementation.

Period of Performance
The grant award period is from July 2026 to June 30, 2027, with an anticipated duration of approximately 12 months.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, specifically supporting local law enforcement and state agencies involved in the Byrne SCIP.
