Fort Revere Water Tower Rehabilitation

Background
The Town of Hull is undertaking the Fort Revere Water Tower Rehabilitation project to enhance and restore the water tower's structural integrity and aesthetic appeal. The mission of this project is to ensure the safety and functionality of the water tower while preserving its historical significance.

The estimated cost for this rehabilitation work is $2,300,000.00.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
- Installation of new site-assembled steel stairs with 1/4 inch steel diamond plate treads, risers, and landings on galvanized steel supports.
- Concrete and masonry repairs.
- Replacement of the existing concrete observation platform.
- Restoration of existing windows.
- Replacement of existing concrete stairs with new metal stairs.
- Replacement of existing interior and exterior lighting.
- Replacement of existing slate roofing.
- Replacement of existing sealants.
- Application of new high-performance coatings at exterior walls (concrete and masonry).
- Installation of new traffic coating on the observation deck.
- Construction of a new exterior ornamental fence around the tower base.
- Replacement of concrete sidewalks.

Additionally, filed sub-bidders are required for trades including Masonry, Miscellaneous and Ornamental Iron, Waterproofing, Damp-proofing, Caulking, Roofing, and Flashing.

Period of Performance
