Easton Public Safety Public Works RFQ for Filed Sub Bidder Prequalification

Background
The Town of Easton, Massachusetts is issuing this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for the prequalification of subcontractors for the construction of three new public safety facilities.

The project includes a new 52,000 square foot Police and Fire headquarters, a 62,000 square foot Department of Public Works (DPW) building, and a 13,500 square foot Fire Sub Station.

The goal of this contract is to enhance public safety services in Easton by providing modern facilities for police, fire, and public works operations.

Work Details
The project involves the construction of three facilities:
1. **Police and Fire Headquarters**: A two-story building at 524 Depot St., encompassing fire apparatus bays, firefighter living quarters, community access rooms, and administrative offices for both police and fire departments.

2. **Department of Public Works (DPW)**: A 62,000 square foot building located at the rear of 524 Depot St., designed to house administrative offices, workshops for various DPW divisions, garage facilities for fleet vehicles, a vehicle wash station, salt storage shed, fuel island, and additional storage.

3. **Fire Sub Station**: A 13,500 square foot facility located at 321 Main St., featuring a central apparatus bay and living quarters for firefighters.

Additional project components include bridge construction at 524 Depot St., traffic signaling at both project locations, debris removal and wetland restoration at 524 Depot St., radio tower installation at 321 Main St., and site improvements including utilities and final site development.

Period of Performance
The estimated construction duration is approximately from January 2025 to November 2026. Specific timelines include:
- DPW Building: 15 months (January 2025 – April 2026)
- Police & Fire Headquarters: 22 months (January 2025 – November 2026)
