Background
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, through the Executive Office of Public Safety & Security and the Department of Correction, is issuing this contract for the installation of a foundation at the Milford HQ Armory.

Bidders must possess a Prime/General Contractor Certificate of Eligibility issued by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) for the category of work required.

Additionally, all employees must have completed a construction safety course approved by OSHA that is at least 10 hours in duration. The contract has a Minority Business Enterprise and Women Business Enterprise (MBE/WBE) participation goal of 13%, with specific workforce utilization percentages set at 15.3% for minorities and 6.9% for women.

Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Enterprises (SDVOBE) participation is encouraged with a benchmark of 3%.
