Background
The Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife (DFW) is issuing this solicitation for tree and stump removal services at the William Forward Wildlife Management Area (WMA) located in Newbury, MA.
The goal of this contract is to manage and maintain the natural habitat by removing trees and stumps from designated areas, thereby enhancing the ecological integrity of the site.
Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for cutting and removing trees over an area of 45.1 acres at William Forward WMA, specifically in the Kents Island section.
Additionally, stump removal must be completed over a designated area of 15 acres. All tree cutting and removal work must be completed by April 1, 2025, while all stump removal work must be finalized by April 20, 2025.
Period of Performance
