CRHSAC21 Cybersecurity Assessment

Background
The Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC), acting on behalf of the Central Region Homeland Security Advisory Council, is seeking a consultant to conduct a cybersecurity assessment for the City of Worcester, Massachusetts.
The goal of this contract is to enhance the cybersecurity posture of the city by identifying vulnerabilities and providing recommendations for improvement.

Work Details
The consultant will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive cybersecurity assessment which includes evaluating existing cybersecurity policies, procedures, and technologies in place within the City of Worcester.
The assessment should identify potential risks and vulnerabilities, provide an analysis of current security measures, and recommend actionable steps to mitigate identified risks.
The final deliverable will include a detailed report outlining findings and recommendations.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and is expected to be completed within a specified timeframe as outlined in the RFP.
Proposals are due electronically by December 11, 2024.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed in Worcester, Massachusetts.
