Background
The Chelsea District Court, part of the Massachusetts Trial Court system, is seeking proposals for a project aimed at repaving and re-striping the employee parking lot located at 120 Broadway, Chelsea, MA. The project encompasses an area of approximately 19,000 square feet and includes enhancements to support future lighting and traffic control devices. The goal is to improve the functionality and safety of the parking area for courthouse employees.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:

1. Milling and paving:
- Mill and remove 2 inches of material from the existing top course of the parking lot and replace it with an equal or increased amount of material in settled areas.
- Ensure proper grading for drainage towards existing catchbasins.
- Restore line striping and pavement markings, including handicap striping.
- Protect existing appurtenances such as catchbasins and manhole covers during construction.

2. Installation of conduits and concrete pads:
- Furnish and install nonmetallic PVC conduits with pullcords for future electrical wiring.
- Fabricate concrete pads to support future equipment installations including traffic control gates and security cameras.

3. Trench drain repair:
- Repair the trench drain in disrepair by re-forming and casting concrete to restore its integrity.

Period of Performance
The work is expected to be performed during off-hours to minimize disruption to courthouse operations, potentially starting on Friday evenings through weekends or state holidays.

Bidder Requirements
