Carlisle Banta Davis Track Rehabilitation

Background
The Carlisle Recreation Department, located at 66 Westford Street, Carlisle, MA 01741, is seeking written quotes for the rehabilitation of the Banta Davis Track.

The Banta-Davis Recreation Area is a 40-acre facility featuring diverse recreational amenities including a ¼-mile asphalt running track surrounding a multi-purpose field, a toddler playground, and trails connecting to other parts of town.

The goal of this contract is to rehabilitate the existing track to enhance its usability and accessibility.

Work Details
Vendors are required to provide a written plan, timeline, and cost estimate for the following work:

- Reclaim and repave the existing asphalt pathway around the field (approximately 11,800 square feet)
- Add two rest area aprons along the pathway (approximately 160 square feet total)
- Add two accessible (ADA-compliant) parking spaces (approximately 480 square feet)
- Install a connecting pathway from the new parking spaces to the main field pathway (approximately 180 square feet)
- Haul and dispose of any excess materials
- Fine grade, compact, and machine-pave with a single 2.5-inch coat of bituminous concrete
- Line stripe all applicable areas.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed from the date of award until completion as specified in the submitted timeline by vendors.

The work will be performed at the Banta-Davis Recreation Area located in Carlisle, Massachusetts.

Bidder Requirements
All submissions must include evidence of three similar projects for a municipal client, including references for each described project.
