Bid 2026-02 Discover ECHO Revolve 4, Hybrid Fluorescence Microscope

Background
Massasoit Community College, an agency of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, invites bids for the provision of a Discover ECHO Revolve 4, Hybrid Fluorescence Microscope (or equivalent) to support the training of Microcredential students and Research interns at its Brockton Campus.
This purchase is funded by a Massachusetts Life Sciences Center Workforce Development Capital Grant, with all equipment required to be received by June 30, 2026.

Work Details
The contract involves supplying one Discover ECHO Revolve 4 Hybrid Fluorescence Microscope with the following specifications:
- Stand: Upright and Inverted observation modes, remote focus knob for focus and image capture, repeatable camera and LED light settings, anti-shake feature, motorized Epi-Fluorescence turret.
- Illumination: Ultra-bright LEDs with a lifespan of 50,000 hours, mercury-free illumination.
- Optics: Optical components by Olympus®, intelligent nosepiece, various objective options (1.25x – 100x), extra long working distance condenser available.
- Display: 12.9” Retina® display with touchscreen interface.
- Cameras: 12MP CMOS color camera for brightfield and SMP sCMOS monochrome camera for fluorescence imaging.
- Software: Touch interface for control, measurement annotations, digital haze reduction available.
- Data Transfer: USB and AirDrop® compatibility.
Additional items include on-site microscope installation and user training, extended warranty coverage with one microscope recertification and preventative maintenance service, and shipping and handling.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period extends until June 30, 2026.

Place of Performance
The equipment will be delivered to Massasoit Community College located at One Massasoit Blvd., Brockton, MA 02302.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must submit a completed Vendor Responsibility Questionnaire, Certificate of Compliance with State Tax Laws and Unemployment Compensation Contribution Requirements, Non-Collusion Certification, Debarment Certification, and Pricing Form as part of their bid submission.
