Background
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, through the Executive Office of Health & Human Services Department of Developmental Services, is seeking a qualified vendor to undertake flooring work at a facility located on Bay St. in Taunton, MA.
The goal of this contract is to ensure the proper installation of new flooring in various areas of the facility, enhancing the environment for its users.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Demolition of existing flooring in designated areas including kitchen, hallways, dining room, living room, closets, laundry room, and foyers.
2. Replacement of any subflooring and joists as necessary due to potential termite damage.
3. Leveling and preparation of the floor to receive new Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) flooring, covering approximately 950 square feet.
4. Provision and installation of glue-down LVT flooring with a wear layer of 20mm or higher; samples must be supplied by the contractor.

Period of Performance
All work must be completed before June 30, 2025.
