Background
The Town of Needham, through its Department of Public Works, is seeking bids for the installation of new bleachers at McLeod Field.
The project aims to enhance accessibility by installing ADA-compliant bleachers and associated infrastructure, in line with the Town's commitment to providing inclusive facilities for all residents.

Work Details
The contractor will perform the following tasks:
- Modify existing concrete bleacher pads and install two (2) ADA-accessible raised aluminum bleacher systems, including associated concrete foundations and ADA ramps.
- Install new asphalt walkways and restore surrounding landscaping to its original condition.

Specific tasks include:
- Removal of existing asphalt walkways.
- Removal and salvage of existing bleachers.
- Installation of erosion and sediment controls.
- Modifications to existing irrigation infrastructure.
- Construction of new reinforced concrete bleacher pads.
- Installation of new ADA-compliant raised aluminum bleachers with ramps.
- Installation of new ADA-accessible bituminous walkways.
- Restoration of disturbed landscaping.

All materials must meet specified requirements, including a minimum concrete compressive strength of 4,000 PSI.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence upon execution and is set to conclude by March 31, 2027.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at McLeod Field, located at 380 Dedham Ave, Needham, MA 02492.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide proof of a minimum of three (3) continuous years in business and submit references for five (5) contracts of similar nature completed within the last five (5) years.
A bid deposit of at least five percent (5%) is required. Bidders must also comply with Massachusetts tax laws and provide necessary insurance documentation.
