26BDC011B RFQ Needham Fleet Maintenance Facility Pre Qualifications

Background
The Town of Needham, through its Permanent Public Building Committee, is seeking qualifications from General Contractors and trade contractors for the Needham Fleet Maintenance Facility Project located at 1421 Central Avenue, Needham, MA 02492. This initiative is in accordance with Chapter 193 of the Acts of 2004 and aims to pre-qualify contractors for a construction project estimated to cost $16,250,000.

Work Details
The project requires qualifications from General Contractors and trade contractors in the following sub-trades:

- Masonry
- Miscellaneous and Ornamental Iron
- Waterproofing
- Damp-proofing
- Caulking
- Painting
- Fire Protection
- Plumbing
- Heating, Ventilating & Air Conditioning (HVAC)
- Electrical.

This RFQ will be used to pre-qualify contractors who will then be invited to submit bids as per Massachusetts General Law Chapter 149.

Period of Performance
Qualifications must be received by 2:00 pm EST on Thursday, June 5, 2025.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Needham Fleet Maintenance Facility located at 1421 Central Avenue, Needham, MA 02492.

Bidder Requirements
Respondents must provide all contact information when requesting Qualification Packets from the Owner's Project Manager at LiRo-Hill. Statements of Qualifications must be signed under penalties of perjury.
