Bidder Requirements
General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the Fire Protection Sprinkler System work category. They must provide a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility along with a signed DCAMM Prime/General Contractor Update Statement. Filed sub-bidders must also be DCAMM certified and include a current DCAMM Sub-Bidder Certificate of Eligibility and a signed DCAMM Sub-Bidder’s Update Statement. Additionally, bidders are required to contract with minority, women, and veteran-owned business enterprises as certified by the Supplier Diversity Office (SDO). Participation benchmarks are set at 4.2% MBE, 8.8% WBE, and 3% VBE for state-assisted projects over $150,000.
