Background
The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) is seeking bids from vendors to support schools, districts, community-based partners, and state efforts in creating high-quality, safe, and supportive learning environments for students and families.

Work Details
The vendor will be responsible for developing or modifying software, creating deliverables containing intellectual property, and providing support services to schools and districts. The work may involve intellectual property derived from third parties, developed by the vendor for the open market or individual clients, or specifically for the purposes of fulfilling obligations to DESE.
The vendor will retain ownership of property developed for clients other than the Commonwealth and for internal purposes not yet delivered to any client. However, the Commonwealth will have ownership rights in all deliverables created under this agreement.

Period of Performance
The initial duration of the contract is from the approval date to June 30, 2029, with two renewal options of 24 months each.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed in Massachusetts.
