Description

DESE seeks a vendor to engage with the Office of Educator Effectiveness and an advisory group of induction and mentoring coordinators, mentors, and mentees to develop a Guidebook for Teacher Induction and Mentoring that includes evidence-based practices, recommendations, and resources for designing, implementing, and continuously improving induction and mentoring for novice teachers.
Background
The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) is seeking a vendor to collaborate with the Office of Educator Effectiveness and an advisory group comprising induction and mentoring coordinators, mentors, and mentees.
The goal is to develop a comprehensive Guidebook for Teacher Induction and Mentoring that incorporates evidence-based practices, recommendations, and resources aimed at designing, implementing, and continuously improving induction and mentoring programs for novice teachers.

Work Details
The vendor will engage with stakeholders to create a Guidebook that includes:
1. Evidence-based practices for teacher induction and mentoring.
2. Recommendations for effective program design.
3. Resources for implementation strategies.
4. Continuous improvement methodologies for mentoring novice teachers.

Period of Performance
