25-16 Reading Memorial High School Field House Floor Replacement

Background
The Town of Reading is issuing a contract for the Reading Memorial High School Field House Floor Replacement, located at 62 Oakland Road, Reading, MA.

The project aims to enhance the facilities at the high school by replacing the existing floor covering and upgrading the bleachers. Gienapp Architects, LLC has prepared the contract documents for this project.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
1. Replacement of the resilient floor covering in the Field House with new flooring.
2. Removal of a portion of the existing floor slab and pouring of a new recessed concrete floor slab.
3. Installation of a wood athletic floor assembly in part of the area.
4. Installation of resilient athletic flooring in another part of the area.
5. Replacement of electrically powered manual bleachers with new powered bleachers.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to be completed following the bidding process, with sealed bids due by 1:00 PM on February 19, 2025.

The work will be performed at Reading Memorial High School, located at 62 Oakland Road, Reading, MA.
