: 2026-2027 Pavement Management Contract 2 (South) CONTRACT #26-3034

Background
The Town of Concord, Massachusetts, through its Engineering Division of Concord Public Works, is issuing an invitation to bid for the 2026-2027 Pavement Management Contract 2 (South). This contract aims to enhance the town's roadway infrastructure as part of their ongoing commitment to maintain and improve public works.

The project is aligned with the Town of Concord's 5-year Pavement Management Program.

Work Details
The contract includes a variety of services related to roadway maintenance and improvement, specifically: roadway pavement reclamation, milling, paving, and preventative maintenance measures such as crack sealing and fog sealing.

Additional work will involve:
- Reconstruction of ADA/AAB pedestrian curb ramps
- HMA driveway apron reconstruction
- Earth excavation
- Pavement marking and crosswalk restriping
- Curbing installation
- Traffic sign installation
- Minor drainage improvements
- Sewer manhole casting adjustment and replacement
- Water gate box adjustments
- Other incidental work.

All necessary traffic controls must also be supplied. The road segments designated for this work will be completed in either 2026 or 2027 based on the town's pavement management strategy.

Period of Performance
The contract will span two years, covering the years 2026 and 2027.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed throughout various specified road segments located in the Town of Concord, Massachusetts.

Bidder Requirements
All bidders must be prequalified by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) with a class of work in pavement surfacing. The estimated value of the project is $4,292,376.24. Bidders must not have any unresolved financial obligations to the Town of Concord. Additionally, prevailing wage rates as determined by the Division of Occupational Safety under M.G.L Chapter 149 apply to this project.
