2026-04 Preventative Maintenance, Service & Repair Otis Elevators - WRCH

Background
The Department of Mental Health (DMH) is issuing this solicitation for the project titled '2026-040 Preventative Maintenance, Service & Repair of Eleven Otis Elevators' at the Worcester Recovery Center & Hospital located at 309 Belmont Street, Worcester, Massachusetts.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the operational efficiency and safety of the elevators through regular maintenance and necessary repairs.

Work Details
The contractor will perform preventative maintenance, service, and repairs on all eleven (11) Otis elevators as specified in the Bid Documents. This includes all labor and materials required to complete the scope of work outlined in the documents.

The work must comply with prevailing wage laws as determined by the Commissioner of the Division of Occupational Safety under Massachusetts General Laws.

Period of Performance
The estimated project duration is three years from the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Worcester Recovery Center & Hospital, 309 Belmont Street, Worcester, Massachusetts 01604.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must have a Prime/General Contractor Certificate of Eligibility issued by DCAMM showing approval to bid on projects for elevator maintenance. All employees must have completed a construction safety and health course approved by OSHA that is at least 10 hours in duration.

Bidders are required to submit a bid deposit of 5% of the total bid amount.
