2025 Water Main Replacement

Background
The City of Taunton's Department of Public Works is issuing an Invitation for Bids (IFB 25-450-21) for the 2025 Water Main Replacement Project.
The goal of this contract is to replace aging water infrastructure to ensure reliable water service for the community.

Work Details
The work consists of the replacement of approximately 7,600 linear feet of existing water main, specifically 6-inch, 8-inch, and 12-inch pipes, with new 8-inch and 12-inch ductile iron pipe.
This includes all associated fittings, valves, hydrants, and connections for both domestic and fire services across various streets in Taunton.
Bids must be submitted on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form.

Period of Performance
The contract time is set for 545 calendar days, commencing twenty days following the Effective Date of the Agreement.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed in various streets throughout the City of Taunton, Massachusetts.
