2025-GA-02 RFP for Cleaning Services

Background
The Massachusetts Technology Collaborative (MassTech) is an independent public instrumentality of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, aimed at fostering innovation and economic growth in the state. This Request for Proposals (RFP No. 2025-GA-02) seeks qualified contractors with experience in Commercial Cleaning Services to provide cleaning services for its facilities located in Westborough, MA.

Work Details
The selected contractor will perform cleaning services across three buildings on the MassTech campus: the Innovation Building, Kariotis Building, and Weiss Conference Building. The cleaning schedule includes:

- **Innovation Building**: Cleaned 4 nights per week.
- **Kariotis and Weiss Buildings**: Cleaned 3 nights per week.

Specific tasks include:

- **Innovation Building**:
- Front Entry: Clean glass doors, sanitize handles, vacuum and dust nightly.
- Reception Area: Spot clean carpets, empty trash buckets nightly.
- Offices and Cubicles: Spot clean and vacuum carpets nightly.
- Conference Rooms: Clean glass, wipe down tables, vacuum floors nightly.
- Restrooms: Clean and sanitize fixtures, refill dispensers nightly.
- Kitchen: Clean countertops, empty trash, clean appliances nightly.

- **Kariotis Building**:
- Similar tasks as the Innovation Building with specific attention to boardroom cleaning and stairway maintenance.

- **Weiss Conference Building**:
- Focus on classrooms and hallways with similar cleaning tasks as outlined above.

MassTech will provide basic supplies while the contractor must supply all necessary cleaning equipment and materials. The contractor must use approved cleaners for high-touch areas to ensure health safety standards.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon selection of a contractor and is expected to continue for a specified duration as outlined in the final agreement.

Place of Performance
The services will be performed at the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative's facilities located at 75 North Drive, Westborough, MA 01581.
