Background
The Department of Mental Health (DMH) is issuing a contract for plumbing and mechanical services for its Northeast Area, which includes Middlesex and Essex Counties in Massachusetts. The goal of this contract is to provide essential services that ensure the proper functioning of facilities that support mental health services.

This contract will cover preventative maintenance, scheduled improvements, and emergency on-call repairs across various residential group living environments and administrative buildings.

Work Details
The contractor will provide plumbing and mechanical services including:
- Preventative maintenance of plumbing systems
- Scheduled improvements to existing plumbing infrastructure
- Emergency on-call repairs as needed.

The service area includes approximately a dozen residential group living environments, the Administration Building in Tewksbury, and the HC Solomon Mental Health Center in Lowell. The estimated construction cost for this project is $230,000.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of three years from the Notice to Proceed letter.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed in the Northeast Area of Massachusetts, specifically within Middlesex and Essex Counties.
