Window Replacement - DOC

Background
The Louisiana Department of Corrections (DOC) is seeking contractors for the removal and installation of windows at their Headquarters located at 504 Mayflower St., Baton Rouge, LA 70802. The goal of this contract is to enhance the facility's infrastructure by replacing existing windows, ensuring compliance with specified standards and regulations.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supplies necessary to remove and dispose of existing windows and install new windows as per the specifications outlined in Attachment C. The project includes work on Buildings 6, 7, and 8.

A jobsite visit is mandatory prior to bid submission, and a Jobsite Verification Form must be included with the bid submission. The contractor must also comply with insurance, builder's risk, bond requirements, and possess a valid contractor's license in the appropriate classification.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence upon award and will be performed over a period that will be defined in the contract terms following the bid opening on May 28, 2025.

Place of Performance
All work will be performed at the Louisiana Department of Corrections Headquarters located at 504 Mayflower St., Baton Rouge, LA 70802.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered in the LaGov vendor system. A completed Attachment B - Jobsite Verification Form or a signed letter from an Agency representative confirming a jobsite visit is required.

Bids must include a bid security of 5% of the total bid amount for projects over $50,000. Bidders must also provide evidence of authority to sign bids as per R.S. 39:1594(C)(4). Additionally, bidders must comply with federal and state laws regarding civil rights and accessibility standards.
