Waste Disposal Service - DOC Rayburn

Background
The Louisiana Department of Corrections is seeking to establish a contract for Waste Disposal Services at the Rayburn Correctional Center located at 27268 Highway 21, Angie, LA 70426.
The goal of this contract is to ensure proper waste management and disposal services for the facility, which is critical for maintaining health and safety standards within the correctional environment.

Work Details
The contractor will provide the following services:
1. One 8 cubic yard dumpster serviced two days each week between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. CT, placed behind the Sewage Treatment Plant.
2. One 40 cubic yard compactor serviced three days each week during the same hours, placed behind the kitchen.
3. A hauling fee charged for each haul (364 units).
4. A disposal fee charged per ton of waste (620 units).
5. A one-time delivery fee for the containers (1 unit).
The total contract includes a monthly fee for waste disposal services over a period of 12 months.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon award and will end on June 30, 2025.
There is an option to extend the contract for two additional 12-month periods at the same price, with a total maximum duration not exceeding 36 months.

Services will be performed at the Rayburn Correctional Center located at 27268 Highway 21, Angie, LA 70426.
