Waste Disposal Service-DOC-Headquarters

Background
The solicitation is issued by the Office of State Procurement for the State of Louisiana, specifically for the Department of Corrections (DOC).
The goal of this contract is to establish a reliable waste disposal service for the DOC Headquarters located at 504 Mayflower Street, Baton Rouge, LA 70802.
This service is essential for maintaining cleanliness and compliance with health regulations within the facility.

Work Details
The contractor will provide waste disposal services including:
1. Three 6 cubic yard containers serviced three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday).
2. A fee for extra pickups as needed.
3. One 30 cubic yard roll-off container serviced as needed, with the agency responsible for notifying when service is required.
4. Disposal fees charged per ton for waste collected in the roll-off container (120 tons total).
5. Monthly rental fees for the roll-off container (12 months).
6. Hauling fees charged per haul for the roll-off container (53 hauls).
7. A delivery fee charged for delivering all containers.
The successful contractor will also be responsible for cleaning up any spills that occur during service.

Period of Performance
The contract will be effective from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026, with an option to extend for two additional 12-month periods at the same prices, not exceeding a total of 36 months.

The services will be performed at the Department of Corrections Headquarters located at 504 Mayflower Street, Baton Rouge, LA 70802.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must be registered in the LaGov vendor system to submit an online bid and must include a W-9 form if newly registered.
The contractor must comply with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations regarding waste disposal services.
