Training Center Addition - DOC

Background
The Louisiana Department of Corrections (DOC) is seeking to expand its existing training center located at Rayburn Correctional Center. The goal of this contract is to construct an addition that will enhance the training capabilities of the DOC, supporting its mission to provide effective rehabilitation and reintegration programs for offenders.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and tools necessary to construct a 750 square foot addition to the existing Training Center for the Louisiana Department of Corrections (DOC). The work must comply with the specifications outlined in Attachment C. Additionally, bidders must complete a mandatory jobsite visit and submit a Jobsite Verification Form as part of their bid submission. The project requires adherence to various insurance, bonding, and licensing requirements as specified in the solicitation documents.

Period of Performance
The contract is expected to commence upon award and will be completed within a timeframe specified by the contractor in their bid response. The opening date for bids is set for April 15, 2025.

Place of Performance
The construction will take place at Rayburn Correctional Center, located at 27268 Hwy 21 North, Angie, LA 70426.
