Supply Rope Rescue Equipment For Kenner Fire Department

Background
The City of Kenner, Louisiana, is issuing a solicitation for the supply of rope rescue equipment for the Kenner Fire Department. The purpose of this contract is to enhance the capabilities of the fire department in performing rescue operations. This ensures that they have access to high-quality and reliable equipment that meets all necessary safety standards.

The contractor will supply various rope rescue equipment, including but not limited to:

- 1/2" SUPERSTATIC2, YELLOW, 300' (92M) (1 EACH)
- PRUSIK, SEWN LOOP 8MM, RED, 18", CMC (12 EACH)
- PRUSIK, SEWN LOOP 8MM, GREEN, 25", CMC (12 EACH)
- WEB, 1" TUBULAR, ORANGE (200 EACH)

Additional items include various types of carabiners and edge protectors. All materials must be new and meet or exceed local and federal safety standards.

Period of Performance
The contract will commence upon execution and award to the successful bidder. It will be effective until all items are delivered and accepted by the City of Kenner. The total agreement amount shall not exceed $25,000.

Place of Performance
The products will be delivered to the Kenner Fire Department located at 2226 Williams Boulevard, Kenner, Louisiana 70062.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must provide a corporate resolution if someone other than a corporate officer signs the bid. Additionally, bidders must comply with Louisiana laws regarding public works contracts and may need to provide evidence of authority to act on behalf of their corporation.
