St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office Exterior Improvements

The St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office is seeking sealed bids from general contractors for the construction of exterior improvements to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office facility. The work under this contract involves all necessary construction activities related to these exterior improvements, as detailed in the project's bid documents. This solicitation is issued by the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office. The contract aims to enhance the exterior of the Sheriff's Office located at 260 Judge Edward Dufresne Parkway, Luling, LA 70070. The project is part of ongoing efforts to maintain and improve the functionality and appearance of the Sheriff's Office facilities. Contractors must submit sealed bids to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office at the above address by 2:00 P.M., local time, on January 13, 2026. At that time, bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the conference room. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security equal to at least five percent (5%) of the base bid and all additive alternates, provided as a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond. The successful bidder will be required to furnish both a performance bond and a payment bond, each for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, provided the bid is within budget. No bid may be withdrawn for 45 days after the bid opening, except as permitted by law.
