Sale of Surplus Equipment: Used Boat Trailer

The work of this contract involves the sale of surplus equipment, specifically a used 2007 ET16 Magic Tilt Boat Trailer. Interested parties are invited to submit sealed bids for the purchase of this item. The Board of Commissioners of the South Lafourche Levee District is requesting these bids. Bids will be received at the South Lafourche Levee District, Post Office Box 426, 17904 Highway 3235, Galliano, LA 70354, until 11:00 a.m. on September 4, 2025. At that time, all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. This solicitation is issued by the South Lafourche Levee District, which is responsible for managing surplus equipment sales within its jurisdiction. The used boat trailer is available for viewing by appointment only at the South Lafourche Levee District office, located at 17904 Hwy 3235, Galliano, LA. Contract requirements specify that bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked Sale of Used Boat Trailer and must include a return address. Bids may be sent via the US Postal Service or hand delivered. If hand delivered, a receipt will be provided to the bidder upon request. Any bids received after 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 4, 2025, will be returned unopened. The South Lafourche Levee District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality, or to accept any bid that serves its best interest.
